Choose the arrangement around your trip
Start with the time you expect to enter the parking facility and the time you expect to drive away after collecting your luggage. A flight arrival time alone can leave too little allowance for baggage collection and the return shuttle. Compare the complete reservation total across those times.
Terminal parking may suit travelers who prefer fewer transfers. An off-airport reservation adds a shuttle journey, so check the collection instructions and luggage arrangements before choosing. Check Anchorage airport parking for your dates.
Long-term parking prices and maximum stay
The official ANC long-term lot publishes $13 per 24 hours and a $78 maximum per week, with a 90-day maximum stay. Check the current parking rate comparison against the total for an off-airport reservation.
The airport’s current parking page also carries a temporary closure notice for new entrants at Park, Ride & Fly, checked on 23 October 2026. Confirm the latest position on the official airport parking page.
For any extended reservation, check whether the provider needs notice of a delayed return or a longer stay. Save the contact details somewhere accessible while you are away. A booking confirmation is the appropriate place to check the exact facility, arrival process and return instructions.
Compare the whole trip, including transfers
A low daily headline does not necessarily produce the lowest total for your itinerary. Compare the final amount, any separately listed charges and the cancellation conditions. Read how the booking treats partial days and late collection rather than assuming every provider uses the same calculation.
- Enter realistic vehicle drop-off and collection times.
- Check whether all passengers and their luggage can use the shuttle.
- Ask about mobility equipment or unusually large bags before booking.
- Review what happens if your return flight changes.

Prepare your vehicle for time away
For a longer stay, clear valuables from view and record where you parked. Keep your reservation, vehicle registration details and any collection instructions together. If someone else will collect the vehicle, ask the provider in advance what authorization they need.
For a winter trip, consider what you will need when you return: suitable footwear, a scraper and warm layers should be accessible before you unpack everything. Ask the facility about its snow procedures and any battery assistance; do not assume these services are included. Our winter parking checklist covers the planning questions.
Bringing a long vehicle or towing? The airport’s lots prohibit vehicles over 25 feet and all trailers. Read the ANC vehicle restrictions and confirm any separate private facility’s limits.
Make a clear plan for the return journey
Before leaving Anchorage, save the shuttle contact and pickup instructions so you can retrieve them without searching through old email. Allow time between landing and any onward appointment. If your arrival changes to another day or an overnight hour, contact the parking provider directly.
Confirm your airline's terminal and use our ANC map and airport information for orientation. For a named off-airport option, read the Dimond Center Hotel parking guide, then check the current listing for your dates.
